The Omaha Nighthawks are the first expansion team in the United Football League, coached by Jeff Jagodzinski. In their first year they will play at historic Rosenblatt Stadium. They intend to provide exciting, accessible and competitive football to fans in Omaha and the surrounding states.



The Omaha Storm Chaser are a AAA affiliate of the Kansas City Royals major league club and has been a member of the expanded Pacific Coast League since 1998. The team is owned by the Omaha Royals Limited Partnership, principal owners include Warren Buffett & Walter Scott, Jr.

As the Omaha Royals, the team played in Johnny Rosenblatt Stadium, home to the College World Series for over 50 years. Omaha has been the only Triple-A location for the Kansas City Royals since their inception in 1969. In 2011, the Storm Chasers will move to their new home, Werner Park in Sarpy County.

For 2 weeks every June Omaha takes the national spotlight as hosts for the College World Series. The College World Series features the eight regional champions competing against each other in a double elimination tournament to determine the champion of college baseball over the course of 15 games.  For all the details, visit the NCAA College World Series page.

The Omaha Beef is a member of the Indoor Professional Football League. Players offer a hard-hitting defense and the game is high scoring. The Rump Roasters, a group of men who haven't missed a meal, and the Prime Dancers, the team's dance squad, are just as popular as the players. Home games for the season run from March through June in the Omaha Civic Auditorium.

The Lancers are Omaha's team in the United States Hockey League. Throughout both collegiate and professional levels of hockey, the Omaha Lancers are considered to be one of the best Tier-1 programs in the United States. Their organization is second to none in providing gifted players a premier training ground to develop skills for the transition to future college and professional play.

The GOATS (Greater Omaha Area Touring Side) are Omaha's premiere Rugby Football Club.  It is a fantastic spectator sport.  You can watch the GOATS home games at the Storz Rugby Complex, on the northwest corner of 16th & Storz Expressway.  Map



The ORG is comprised of Omaha's swiftest and strongest ladies. Buff and bruised, the ORG promises to deliver a powerful punch of sport and spectacle. All falls and the spills are the real deal.
